The village of Żelazowa Wola is situated in the district of Sochaczew, on the edge of the Kampinos Forest, 54 km from Warsaw. It is the place where Frederic Chopin was born, and where you can visit his museum - the Birthplace of Frederic Chopin, as well as the Park in Żelazowa Wola - a place dedicated to the Polish composer, frequented by many tourists and music lovers from Poland and abroad. Both the Birthplace of Frederic Chopin and the surrounding historical park are the property of the Frederic Chopin Institute. On the occasion of the Year of Chopin, celebrated in 2010, the manor and the surrounding park were renovated and modern pavilions providing tourist services were added, thanks to which the brilliance of the museum and its surroundings was restored. The Birthplace of Frederic Chopin
